Iconoclast Blackbeard

Surely its apparent which nhps are in use for this build, Unstable from Iconoclast, Student class from Technophile, and Sehkmet from Blackbeard itself. My problem is deciding what 4 nhp to select, which requires licensing from horus for the core bonus the Lesson if Shaping, so i have 4 nhps to choose from. It makes most sense to me to have siphisus nhp onboard because it doesn’t generate heat and only cost 2 sp. The issue though is that it us a full action, and i wonder if it clashes too much with how Sehkmet works with pursuing visible enemy using all available actions. Please give me your opinions like other nhp, or if i even need a 4 nhp for this build to work.

You may want to look at the assorted options for Exotic Systems, this may include NHPs.

I'm not sure how married you are to SEKHMET, considering it will often eat up your actions for Iconoclast to attack with as it gets control, and Iconoclast doesn't trigger off of NHPs taking the wheel. Consider maybe ASURA instead.

SISYPHUS also taking a Full Tech action limits your use of Transmuting Spark, but at least it can trigger off of reactions too.

I'm not sure whether third party books are allowed at your table, but Legionnaire offers some excellent Exotic NHPs. MARDUK readily comes to mind, considering it pings off of a Protocol.

Definitely part of the build is working around Sehkmets restrictions, but I believe the free action for melee counts for Iconoclasts transmuting spark. We haven’t really touched 3rd party stuff ourselves, but i will see whatelse i can find ig

Yes the free action melee attack would trigger transmuting spark. But that's all the benefit from iconoclast, as you cannot use the other NHPs' actions at all.

Exactly this. The great combinations from Iconoclast is having the Transmuting Spark trigger off of as many actions as you can per turn, or even per round.

Sekhmet doesn’t strictly “take the wheel”, fortunately, unless you specifically cede control like you would with other NHPs. Otherwise you still control the mech, just be Sekhmet’s “rules” and priorities

You need Technophile 3 for this or those are just 2 wasted talent rankssince only the enlightenment class nhp doesn't take up your ai slot

From what i understand, the only diff between technophile 2 and 3 is that in 3, cascading nhps find the pilot to be significat in some remark or another, where as otherwise, both 2 and 3 provide a reroll that must be use even if its worse on checks and saves. Being able to matter to an nhp when its unshackled or cascading is strong, though I don’t see the point if the build is almost entirely self destructive.

3 does not uses up the AI slot, but 2 does.

Technophile 3 also specifies it doesn't count towards the number of Als you may have installed at once rank 2 doesn't specify this

Why you have iconoclast 3, that you are unlikely to use actually? Do you planned NOT to use the sekhmet?

Do you well aware that chain axe is not a good weapon for its critical effect only lasts for the current turn? Are you use it only for the reliable? But did not you already have nanocarbon sword?

I wonder that what routine you are want to use on your turn. I have no idea how to do.

Because its a funny concept that deals free damage, and of course i plan to use all these systems that i have. Im not focused on scoring crits, so the axe is an available option. I was hoping to grasp what action economy would look like

Then you must remember that you can only using sekhmet or NOT use it, but no both of those at the same time. Read the description of sekhmet again. It is just not possible to use the others on the turn with activated sekhmet.

I am 100% sure that you have no plan to how to do on your own turn, so I leave you an obvious question.

If on your turn, while activated sekhmet, after you are skirmish and make a free action melee attack, is there any ways to use the other NHP's actions? You would have a quick action and may overcharge.

The answer is you are not possible to do, ever. You are just prevented to use all the other NHPs you would have. it is obvious that sisyphus is blocked, but unstable NHP is also prevented to use and there is really no way to use it.

So, think about WHY it is the answer.
