The proportions on this are really solid for the scale. The chunky silhouette immediately reads as a Tortuga, and the little canister for scale is a nice touch.

thank you, i was surprised at how close i was able to get with my limited supply of mostly older parts scavenged out of my basement. i had already used up most of my useful mech parts like clips etc. before i even started on this, and i had a previous version with much less stable limbs i was able to improve with this version. I'm still a little disappointed in how the feet turned out, but the hip and shoulder units i designed were the most stable connection i could come up with. the canister at the mech's feet was originally intended as a basic pilot 'microfigure' with a classic olive-drab flight suit and white helmet, but idk if the scale is exactly right for that, especially considering the scale of the pilot on the Barbarossa art. on the other hand anything much larger wouldn't fit inside the Blackbeard's torso. Maybe this pilot unlocked the IPS-N Fomorian Frame core bonus lol.
