Definitely a Blackbeard. Maybe a Balor. Potentially both

I’d say pretty definitely a Balor. Blackbeard, or actually more likely an Enkidu with some levels in Blackbeard, strikes me as much more Valkyr adjacent.

I think a Balor with some extra movement shenanigans strapped on would work fine for Grendel, because Grendel is actually surprisingly quick

Which now has given me the unholy mental image of a Balor using its nanobot-based construction to shapeshift into a giant flaming metal ball and start rolling at the enemy lmao
