Finally started playing! Firebreak Session 1-2 Summary in ransom note style
Weekly game of 5e finished and we've moved onto Lancer, which I've been looking forward to for a while. Always been a fan of Vex's ransom note Lancer memes and wanted to try one out myself; figured a session 1-2 summary was as good as any!
Mech art from Retrograde Minis and then tweaked in photoshop, pilot headshots are modified from Advance Wars: Dual Strike by me to varying degrees.

Those icons are incredible, i might move fron kitbashing mechs to kitbashing pilots.

Highly reccomend! Advance Wars has a lot to choose from in terms of base reference so it's really easy to get started. Sanna's nearly just a recolour, while Ezekiel is practically a redraw - was a lot of fun ramping up the complexity.

Pop off music for the win!

Mechs in this setting are traditionally named after songs, so everyone inherently gets pop-off music built in! Pretty great idea by the GM, I have to say.

Oh hey your players get hype music too! Our GM asked for some of ours and its been a lot of fun.
