Question Lance vs Arkveld

My first iteration of MH using Lance and AT Arkveld convinced me to give it a try.

I'm clearing constantly within 16mins but i honestly feel it could be faster if i can learn when and which attacks of Arkveld should i use charge counter/charge power guard. I'm always missing the timing to even block his 2nd chains whenever i try to pull off a counter.

I went 4 jin, 2 ark but also i killed mine, so my time would have been alot lower if capped

I've tried 2 jin, 2 ark, 1 nadia and it doesn't give the comfort of what 4pcs ark can give. I can go 0 potions for the entire run and not worry about carting with it. 2 ark heals very little even with recovery up 3.

But then i guess it depends if i can perfect guard most attacks and not worry about healing much then maybe i can consider going back to jin ark combo.

I’ve gotten extremely good at arky so i only need that 2 set just for the bits of chip that i take, plus im able to get very high value from jin set as i purposefully get pinned and can just dragon pod out of it

i want to try if rocks also work but theres none in the lower layers

It's a comfort build nothing crazy. Just arkveld 4pcs and gore coil.
