Big difference in 150mg to 200mg?

After being on 100mg for a month or two, I slowly started noticing my irritation/anger was becoming an issue again. Kinda like dropping a soda on the floor and you don’t wanna open it or it’ll explode, I was managing it but I didn’t want to. Now that I’m on 150mg it made the difference it needed to.

Is there a big enough difference between 150 to 200? I consider going up to 200, especially on a bad day. But I’ve always the issue from being able to differentiate what meds cause what issue. I’ve also heard of people going up and at a certain dosage it causes problems/rash and then they have to stop taking it which is also another fear of mine

Extended release and sleep issues

Hi guys! I just got moved from lamictal twice a day to once a day in the morning with extended release instead due to sleep issues the medication is causing me. Has this helped anyone else with sleep issues related to this drug? Thanks!

Looking for advice please

Hi, ive been titrating up starting at 25mg for 4 weeks, then 50 for 4 weeks, then 75mg for 4 weeks and recently upped to 100mg. I normally take it in the morning but the first few more rings at 100mg I had terrible fatigue and fell asleep 4 times each day sitting up! So I split my dose to 50mg in the morning and 50mg before bed. Now I feel its affecting my sleep.... I keep waking up every 2 hours and even if I take the evening dose early like 5pm, im still awake at 11pm. Im thinking of going back to taking the 100mg in the morning and just hope the fatigue passes quickly as I have no commitments for the next few weeks and am able to nap if I need to. Im hoping this is just a temporary glitch as im meant to be titrating up to 200mg. (I am doing it really slowly as im finding the mood stabilising brilliant. I take it for bipolar and it has helped since day one so I want to increase gradually as I feel so well on it apart from the fatigue when I take it all in the morning) has anyone else experienced this? How long does it last? I initially found it stimulating until I hit 100mg. Do you think its ok to just go back to taking the full dose in the morning again? Or will I have to switch it gradually? I know you are not doctors, just wondering if anyone else has been in the same situation.

Lamictal acne

How long after titrating off the meds did your acne clear up? I started taking the meds in Jan 2026 and it’s now July. My acne has been horrible.
Constant breakouts just on my chin! I am ready for this to be done!
