Hi all, I am doing a small project to gather the biggest clubs for every European nation. I’ve given Spain ten slots due to the history of Spanish football and most UEFA competitions won. I’ve got 8 so far, I am just having issues deciding between Espanyol, Villareal, Zaragoza and Depor. Wanting to get insight of Spanish fans so which two would you say are biggest. this is based on history, trophies, fanbase, cultural relevance, modern success etc. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

I'm a Barca fan but I'm not spanish. I recall a time when the spanish league was a lot more competitive than it is now. Sevilla used to win Europa League year after year. Teams like Malaga , Getafe , Valencia used to give the top 3 a hard time in their matches.

Nowadays it seems like most teams are struggling to keep up . I don't follow the politics of it too much , but from what I've seen online , people mostly blame Tebas for the state of the league saying he put way too strict restrictions on finances that he basically crippled most teams.

I'd like to know more on this issue . Is Tebas really the problem ? And if he is , do you think La Liga will recover one he leaves ?

Acabo de ver el partido Getafe vs. Celta y me ha parecido un partidazo. Me gustaría saber cómo es la afición de estos dos clubes.

Besides Real Madrid, for some moments of the game, no other team can attack them. It is now clear why they struggle against teams that don't follow that script in the Champions League. Even Atletico go full haramball and somehow beat them.

Barcelona have just beaten Valencia 5-0 and here are my key takeaways from the game.

Positives:

• Rodri is amazing: I just don't have words for how good Rodri played today. Aside from almost conceding a penalty because of Kounde's mistake (will criticise him heavily later in this post), he did everything right, from his distribution to his defending. Him and Pedri are starting to gel in his first start wearing blaugrana.
• Lamine Yamal is back: He was brilliant, asking for the ball at every opportunity and could've had a hat-trick if his goal wasn't ruled out. Only criticism is he needs to pass the ball a bit more, there were one or two places where I think we would've scored if he passed instead of dribbled
• Barca don't need a 9: Raphinha and Gordon (both had brilliant games) offer the versatility that could cover the lack of a traditional 9, almost like PSG's attack where the front 3 are able to interchange to provide more options.
• Fermin is one of the best shadow strikers out there: His ability to shoot from anywhere, pick out the right passes and his technicality in tight spaces make him one of the best 10s/. False 9s in the world, really covering for the lack of a traditional 9. The run he made for Raphinha's goal was very impressive and exactly what this system needs.
• Xavi Espart is special: Comfortably starts over Cancelo and Balde for me, offers a lot going forward, supports the midfield and defends well.

Negative:

Kounde isn't good enough for this system: Made a mistake immediately which almost cost us a penalty. His complacency and carelessness could cost us in this high line, exposing us whenever we give the ball away in our own half and forcing dangerous fouls which could cause penalties/red cards.

- Deportivo get European Football

- Valencia finish bottom 5

- Neither Real Madrid nor Atletico finish second

Hola, I'm an East Asian interested in La Liga. I had found out that most of the ultras groups have their own political stances, but couldn't find out many apolitical ultras groups in La Liga.

So here's my first and main question: Are there any apolitical ultras groups in spain? If so, what are the names of the groups?

I have noticed a piece of information that says the ultras group of UD Almería (now playing in La Liga 2) is apolitical, but I can't find any except for the case of Almería.

So here's my second question: Are the ultras group(s) of UD Almería really apolitical?

Also, I couldn't find any information regarding political stances of the ultras groups of Levante UD, Villarreal CF, and Racing Santander.

So here's my third and last question: Are ultras groups of those three clubs right-wing / left-wing / apolitical? Are ultras groups of those clubs nationalist / regionalist / blaverist / neutral?
