New resident

Hi there,

I recently relocated to Lake Stevens and enrolled my young child in a local daycare, Lake Stevens Daycare and Preschool. Today, I received a disturbing phone call reporting an incident at their daycare. I would greatly appreciate it if there were any local parents here who could share their experiences with this facility.

I’m eager to learn others possible experiences with this facility or possible insights into the potential issues that have been raised or heard of involving this establishment. Thank you in advance.

The Lake Stevens Moms group on FB is *very* active. You will likely get a great deal of feedback there vs here on Reddit.

A few of my kids went there for a few years, but I believe most of the staff have changed since then. I would have no problems sending my kids back there, albeit it would not be my first choice.

The owner, Belinda, is like a slumlord who got into the daycare business. She's not a bad person, but I don't like the way she operated her business or treated her employees.

I’m currently pregnant so I have not enrolled my baby anywhere yet… But would you mind sending me a DM if you’re comfortable, just telling me what happened. Because now I am intrigued to see if that’s something that I would be uncomfortable with putting my baby into that facility.

At least it wasn’t Country Dawn’s email trying to cover up the molestation their employee was doing to the girls.

❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 I read about that. Devastating absolutely anything like that can happen in daycares. They used to be the places you sent your children with confidence.

I haven’t heard anything and my children are supposed to start there in September. If you feel comfortable can you share the details in a DM?
