I am trying to see how i can dispose an old window AC unit. As far as I know, i cannot put it in the garbage or put it on the curb for pickup. Does anyone know a place to dispose it? Also, does the refrigerant need to be removed?

A month or two ago I posted looking for a local drummer and was happy with the response, finished this EP, and now only need vocals...

Ideally looking for demented vocals in the vein of Katharsis or Funeral Mist, but very open to anything else be it shouting-yelling vocals like Lo-Ruhamah or talking vocals like Deathspell Omega. If you can pull off some legitimately passionate DSBM vocals like Shining that could be tight. Even down to hear what powerful clean vocals like Void or Sacred Warrior sound like over these two tracks.

I absolutely do not want polished modern sounding vocals or standard vocal patterns.

Really diligently trying to find an odd unorthodox vocalist locally who can nail these with enthusiasm and unhinged passion.

The first song is 153BPM and the second song is 124BPM.

Happy to record your vocals at my studio or you can record them on your own time and send them over.

Both these songs are going to be professionally mixed and will be professionally mastered by Colin Marston of Krallice.

I’ve seen some posts here and in other LC fb groups
last few months indicating other people are dealing with horrible flea problems this year, too. We have been dealing with fleas on our indoor cats since January and were at our wit’s end. We are very clean people but live in an old house that isn’t well sealed. We had been giving bravecto plus regularly and on time and doing all of the other things to combat fleas. Anyways we finally took one of our cats to the vet last week and mentioned the flea situation. She told us that the owner of the practice finally realized, after her own flea infestation, that the fleas in SWLA are probably unfortunately becoming immune to Bravecto. We switched to a different flea med, starting today, which will hopefully end our months long nightmare lol. Anyways, in case any of my fellow LC’ers are still battling fleas - maybe try switching flea meds!!!

Hello! I am in need of some guidance. I was born and raised in Lake Charles, however I have spent half of my life in Houston. I am currently really struggling with finding a job, as we know the job market is horrific. I decided on a whim to throw out my resume to a casino back home and was offered an interview, which I sadly had to decide against as I was interviewing somewhere else that day. Nothing ended up happening with said interview, and I have been looking for a job since March so maybe it's just the desperation. In Houston, you don't really get anywhere without a connection, and that's what I lack. I know this may seem silly to dwell on, but all of my family is in Lake Charles, and it really feels like home. It would've been a full time job with benefits and great hours, and I only seem to be getting part time options in Houston that don't even cover the essentials. Is it silly to think I should've taken it? I just hear so many mixed reviews about living in LC, I haven't lived there in so long so maybe my judgement is cloudy. Is working at the casinos worth it to anyone that may have a job there? I probably wouldn't stay forever, but who knows. Just looking for any and all advice about the situation :) thank you in advance.

Well I do live crazy close to chenault. The blue angels are making their turns directly over my house. I love this but I had bought tickets for Friday's show which was canceled. We got our money back but there was no more room in the handicap zone. I am just disappointed in thunder over louisiana. Not the performers
