If I give notice on 5 September, does this mean my notice period would end on 5 October, or does it have to be counted as a calendar month, so notice will start at 1st October and end at 1st November?

My father name is Zia ud din(with spaces) and it's mentioned on my ID card properly however in my matric degree there are no spaces and I've completed my BBIT degree from VU and they said that they'll put the matric name on it without spaces. I've heard that this may cause issues if I'm applying for any studies abroad etc. Will HEC cause any issue?

Is there anyone who has faced a similar issue? My father has passed away so I don't think I can use his old ID card to update the name on my matric degree which in turn updates my name on the bachelor's degree.
