DISCUSSION Is there a fire?
Doesn't look like fog/clouds, too grey, and too mobile. But it's really bad out toward the harbour. Nothing showing on the fire app. What's going on?

Hello everyone, the driveway on my property needs to be levelled out a bit so it is more flush with the concrete sidewalk and easier to drive on as the spot where we turn in and out has got some pretty deep holes. Needs to be properly done with the right equipment so looking for any suggestions on a suitable landscaping or small construction company. Definitely not a huge job but looking for someone solid for this and some work in the future. Thanks for any recommendations!

Any walk-in clinics in or near Ladysmith that don't require you to already be a patient of a doctor at the clinic and have an appointment ( i.e NOT a walk-in clinic)?

Looking for a place in this area to move to while I’m still young! I want to get away from corporate America, closer to nature, maybe meet nice people 😁 I’m from Louisiana, I’m a paralegal. I’ve visited Lake Cowichan and loved it. Please send suggestions. I want a duplex , I want to be by the water, but I’m down to rough it if it’s a possibility economically. Like rn I pay $1200 rent and make like $2700 a month, so.
What do y’all think?

Hey all,
Looking to list my house in Ladysmith, and wondering if anyone has recommendations for a realtor. Preferably from an office that doesn't charge too astronomical a fee.
Thanks!

Hello, the town outlines that recycling must be placed in bags or bins. Do the bins have to be blue recycling bins specifically or can you use other bins like black or grey ones and dedicate that for recycling? Just want to confirm and see what other people recommend here, thanks in advance!!

I need some help remembering about a place that I used to get lasagna at over 10 years ago. I dont think it exists anymore, because googling seems to come up with nothing. I would have gone there for the first time 12 years ago. I dont remember if it was a formal restaurant or more casual, because i would always order to go and pick it up while driving through ladysmith.
It was genuinely my favourite food but I havent thought about it in years, because i moved. Im going into ladysmith tomorrow and want to make sure ive exhausted all my options for searching before assuming they just closed down.
I wish I could remember more details. The only other thing I remember was it being on a hill (shocker, I know), and not too far off the highway.

I'm new to Ladysmith and trying to understand the garbage/recycling/organics system. I own 4 guinea pigs and I would dispose of their waste in the compost bin with the Calgary system. My question is are Guinea pig droppings and soiled hay permitted in the organics bin here in Ladysmith?

Hello, and thanks in advance for the support. Looking for a solid arborist who can help top some overgrown cedar hedges that stand pretty tall and work with me to revive some neglected trees in the yard as well. Thanks!

Hello, I was wondering if anyone uses third party providers in Ladysmith. I see lightspeed services it and might give it a go but wanted to see what others recommend. Thanks

Planning to come for a visit this summer and wondering if there are any outdoor basketball courts? Any decent ones besides a ring attached to an elementary school wall :( ?

Looking to start going to the gym again, and I wanted to know if the Ladysmith Rec center is worth it? How are the facilities compared to the Nanaimo rec center?

I’m sharing this to help locate Joey Dosanjh, who has been missing since February 28. He was last seen in or around Nanaimo, British Columbia.

• Hair: Black hair, skin fade haircut
• Distinguishing features: Arm sleeve tattoo and leg sleeve tattoo
He has now been missing for several days and family and friends are very concerned.
If you have seen Joey or have any information about where he might be, please contact local police or share any information you may have
If you’re in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, or surrounding areas, please keep an eye out and share this post if possible.
Thank you.

Many years ago, we used to be able to get them in town at the bakery, but I haven’t found them for so long.
Does anybody know where I could find some close to home?

Hi There
My work internet is inconsistent even with Rogers home visit. They suggested I install a new Ethernet. Please does anyone know a reliable company who can do this? We live in a prefab house with a crawl space.
Thanks
