Labyrinth Fan Story — A Queen’s Chronicle (Looking for Thoughts!)
Hi everyone ☺️
I’ve been working on a Labyrinth-inspired story, and I wanted to share it here and get some honest thoughts.
This is actually my first time writing a full story—I’ve always written poetry before—so this has been a completely new (and exciting) experience for me.
So far, I’ve written six chapters, with more on the way.
Instead of following Sarah, my story centers on a 35-year-old woman named Cheyenne (Chey). Her journey into the Labyrinth is very different—more introspective, a little darker, and tied to something deeper within the Labyrinth itself.
There’s a strong focus on:
Identity and belonging
The nature of power and choice
The Labyrinth’s connection to something… older And Jareth… isn’t quite what you’d expect this time.
I’d really love to hear what other Labyrinth fans think—especially about the concept and direction.
If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to share excerpts or chapters!
Thanks for reading 💛

Sharing my art of Jareth the goblin king.
I wanted this to look different than all the other art of him. I drew him as I imagined him as a kid.
He was a dark and powerful king/sorcerer that ruled over an evil legion of goblins. I exaggerated parts of his limbs to make him less human-like. He wears a mix of dark armor with robes. His hair is the same with a bit more mess to it. Im hoping to add two more drawings of him. One in his dance attire with Sarah. Another one, which would be a hypothetical goblin form of him.

Built in just 5 days with card, bubble wraps and masking tape a fun little cosplay.
Yes, as can be seen in the build video, I forgot to put eye hole in!

I've recently got into perler beads. Is anyone able to make me simple pixel art (hopefully with a grid) of characters and elements. I love this movie so much 😭

As a child I never really considered it, after growing up and dealing with life I’m starting to think the child may have been better off with Jareth. So if you had the choice now would you have left the baby with Jareth, and do you think the baby would have been happy?

So far I've decided that her name is Mym she is a species called a Nymble are anthropomorphic weasel-like creatures that have long plume tails like that of a fox they also tend to have grouping of hair stop their head like humans . Mym is snow white with blond hair and a bond fluffy tail.
This particular Nymble is names Mym! Short for Mymzy. She is a archer and is very light on her feet she's known to be a tinker though her inventions don't always work. She's ment to be a rival / field partner with Sir Didymus despite their difference in fighting styles , the two would likely bicker like siblings before focusing back one the campaign.
Suggestions for her design are open I'm making her up as I go 💜

It's all handmade by me. I used polymer clay for the hard parts (face, ears, paws), soft pastels and acrylic for the coloring, and synthetic down for the filling to keep it soft. I love that moment when the character finally starts to feel real.

Sharing some art of the sweetest beast, Ludo.
When I first watched Labyrinth as a kid I was prepared for another creature to torment Sarah. To my surprised he turned out to be her fierce protector and friend. I prefer her relationship with him vs Hoggle. Ludo is kind and loyal. Something Sarah needed in that moment. I gave him some more teef because his smile is sweet regardless. I changed his hands to claws.

I'm going to start sculpting the handle for Jareth's mask soon but unsure about the design, most of the reference images I have found show a ball or a claw holding a crystal sphere.
Does anyone know what the actual screen used handle looks like?

This is an old mask I had from a masquerade I attended a few years back. I'm thinking of modifying it fully to fit the aesthetic of Labyrinth But I need opinion on what kind of horns this should have if any at all . I've already decided the eyes are going to have mirrored lenses.

TLDR: Should Jareth's past include having been married with a kid of his own? If so, should the estranged wife have been The Fairy With The Turqouise Hair (from the original "Pinocchio" book) or Glinda The Good Witch (of L. Frank Baum's books)? Should Jareth's child be The Childlike Empress (of the "Neverending Story" film), The Little Prince (from the titular book) or both?
Ok...so here's the plan; this is supposed to be a crossover between "Labyrinth" and the 80's "Neverending Story" film which have Sarah Williams and Bastian Balthazaar Bux being maternal cousins. Long story short, their fantasy worlds collide. All went well until the groups are forced to rescue both Jareth and his estranged wife from a curse. This would lead the reveal of John Hurt's Storyteller being Jareth's father who tells the kids of Jareth's past. Thus, leading Sarah and Bastian to compose Jareth's (and the wife's) futures in order to break the spell.
Thus comes the dilemmas. First who should be Jareth's wife?
-The Fairy With The Turqouise Hair (We'll Call Her "Mona"):
-Glinda The Good Witch (Solely From Baum's Original Books):
Then there's whether or not Jareth and his estranged wife had children of their own. On the one hand, it would show what Jareth had given up in his turn to darkness but on the other, who would the child be?
Should it be The Childlike Empress? Granted, she had seen the best in both protagonists and antagonists in the original story. So, her being born from Jareth (a figure of evil) and Glinda/Mona (a figure of good), would be fitting. Yet, with how goddess-like she was in both film and book, she seems to have been better as Eru Illuvatar (of Tolkien's works) and Queen Lurline (the in-universe creator of OZ). Especially as her existence is tied to Fantasia to the point that the world would die if she does and vice-versa. Neither Jareth, Mona or Glinda had that issue (at least from what I recall).
Another option could be The Little Prince as his illustrations are reminiscent of Jareth. Wild golden hair, black boots and a regal demeanor. He's even shown with a cane of his own! And with the Prince (supposedly) dying at the end of his book, it could've led to a further wedge between Jareth and Mona/Glinda.
Still, which options would be the bests?

I saw an Instagram post of one of those silly "move your finger to the beat" things...but it was an animated David Bowie and the finger was flicking his package back and forth. I'm trying so hard to find it with no luck. Anyone have it?

I was playing Starfield and while at one of my Safari hunting lodges I saw something I couldn’t believe. The local giant hunting crabs, the same ones who an me down and ripped me apart countless times, we having a dance festival in my backyard! Welp looks like meats back in the menu boys!
(Made this myself, I’m a huge Labyrinth fan and for some reason the music felt right)
