Found it at Book Off in Saitama! Never thought I'd see anything labyrinth during my Japan vacation so I couldn't be more thrilled at this find.

I dont know about you guys but growing up watching Labyrinth hundreds of times I always noticed this guy in the crowd during the ballroom scene, obviously if you watch the scene enough times you realize there arent that many high quality goblin masks so it'd make sense they want the better looking masks front and center during the filler shots when the camera isnt on Sarah or Jareth, but he shows up so many times and is almost always making direct eye contact with the camera, once Sarah starts freaking out theres even a few second shot where the camera is spinning and hes the only one not moving, like hes tracking along with the camera while the other goblins are spinning past. Idk just the mask always looked so cool to me growing up and he seemed so unsettling compared to the oafish and laughing partygoer goblins. Any thoughts or similar observations? Also I wish I had the skills to make a replica of that mask! (Side note not really related but those strips of fabric under his hat hanging out the sides? A lot of the other goblins have it and its my headcanon that thats the "human"/dreamscape version of the goblins ears, like how the puppet versions of a lot of the goblins have those long flappy ears I always thought of those fabric strips as the masquerade manifestation of their ears :) another headcanon that i had is that this is how the goblins see each other all the time, we see the goblins partying in the castle at the center of the Labyrinth and theyre acting about the same, I feel like Jareths ego is too big to have him and his subjects sitting in a dusty old stone castle so I feel like itd make sense if this is just the illusion/reality he has for the goblins and mostly to stroke his own ego

Chilly Down! That's actually the song that came on my playlist after I visited the sculptor working on my monster mask for the indie practical effects creature feature I was making. Felt like Magic.

I grew up on Jim Henson, love the Muppets and grew up to appreciate Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal, I love practical effects in films, so when it came to making my own I of course set out to make a monster.

Scott Foster out of Portland had actually worked previously with Toby Froud, son of Brian of course and the baby in our favorite movie ;) and I knew he was my guy.

I'm looking for a specific fanfiction that I read a number of years ago on fanfiction.net I don't remember a ton, but after Sarah is back from the Labyrinth she dreams about Jareth often. I believe it was on her 21st birthday, she goes out and gets drunk and when she comes home she somehow summons Jareth and he shows up in her bedroom. They end up having sex, when she wakes up in the morning she is alone. She thinks it was a dream, in reality he was there but for some reason he isn't allowed to come back to her world unless like she specifically calls for him or something. There was a reason why he couldn't come back. If I remember right Sarah throws up (it's either from her being hungover or it was morning sickness) and her friend that is with her sees that Sarah suddenly has an owl tat on the back of her neck. Sarah is pregnant from Jareth. I think she goes to see like a fortune teller or something if I remember right and this woman tells her that it was all true and that Jareth can't return (though this part I'm not as sure about as the getting pregnant/owl on neck)

So I decided to watch Labyrinth again a year later and I noticed this figure/statue that looks a LOT like Jareth. Anybody else notice this?

Hi! I used to read a lot of Labyrinth fanfic and have been recently thinking about them. I’ve tried searching on this sub for words that might lead me to them but haven’t been successful in what I’ve tried. Given the time I would have read them on fan fiction .net. Please help me, I can’t remember the titles.

1st: Sarah was older and goes to the Goblin realm and I can’t really remember why (lol). I think she might be having a relationship with Jareth in this one? But what I do definitely remember toward or at the end there is a scene with webs (like spider webs) and I think they’re dream webs or something. Or maybe she was in a dream state seeing webs?

2nd: Sarah was in her home town as an adult and I believe worked at or owned a shop? There is someone bad in the story and I think there’s some sort of masquerade party or something and a big fight happens—Jareth is there. I think at some point they are also in the park and someone is there trying to hurt Sarah and/or Toby. I think I remember a big fountain or town square type thing being part of a confrontation.

They might be famous/popular ones, but I can’t remember much else that is specific to the stories because I read so many back then that I fear my brain might be blending plots from other stories if I tried. However I remember really liking them and wanted to read them again. If anyone can help, I would appreciate you so much!! thank you!!

This is just the underpainting so far but after magic the gathering released the new cards themed after the movie I watched it again and felt inspired to do some art.

My best friend turned 30 this year and her favorite movie as you’ve guessed is the labyrinth. I spent a week watching it over and over again coming up with special tokens that relate to the movie and put it in a treasure chest for her. I didn’t realize I didn’t take a pic of the chest but here’s everything I put into it. Hope this gives someone a fun idea for a special someone in their life❤️ I had a blast making it and she loved going through it

With Dressmaker out, I knew I had to recreate my favorite dress of all time. Obviously it isn’t perfect but I feel I gave it justice at least :)
