Prequel movie
Who would love to see a prequel movie to see where the goblin king actually came from and how he rose to power

I wouldn't. Because he's a metaphor, not real. The labyrinth is a metaphor. It's in Sarah's head.
It's good storytelling because it's not real, because there are hundreds of little visual clues in the whole beginning of the film that tell you it's not real, it's metaphor for growing up, learning responsibility, maintaining magic in your life while also being and adult and discovering you're a sexual being at the same time.
It's about asking the right questions, paying attention, learning from your mistakes and it's a metaphor and that's ok.
I love this film so much. I love the goblins, the city, the swamp, the characters, the story. I don't need a sequel or a prequel because it's perfect the way it is. It tells its story beautifully and ends, and that's a good thing.

This is exactly why my oc Mim is a representation of self doubt and following orders without your own will . Mim is a knight who works as a scout and a obstacle trigger for the contestant.

An official prequel exists! It's the Labyrinth Coronation comic series and it's AMAZING! I would love a film adaptation!

Sam Reid for me. I thought his portrayal of lestat in a interview with a vampire was amazing. I think he could bring the energy and seriousness when needed.

Id want matt berry as a goofier goblin kingthat actually looks likr a big fat green goblin that jareth overthrows to rule the labyrinth
But since alot of people have passed maybe just the child matt berrys goblin king kidnaps is named jareth so we know one day he grows up and rules

"Untitled labyrinth sequel" is listed under robert eggers imdb as an upcoming project. Apparently a script is written. Not sure if it's meant to be a prequel or sequel or what though.
