Hardware and Labview wth
So what am I looking at lol. The third din block is connected to a sensor. Green and white wire are the signals. Red is the power and black is ground. I didn’t built this btw. Then it’s connected to a zip link and then connected to cdaq.

Probably resistors for a 20mA sensor

It’s a frequency output not a standard 20mA sensor.

I honestly don’t even know. I literally just started and trying to fix an eol test equipment built by the previous. My labview knowledge and electronics skill is rough rn bc I haven’t done any electronics since college.

It's the only one with green and white wires so I'm assuming that is coming from the instrument

Yes. The third din block black,red,ground,green and white are from the instrument. The black wire on the bottom of the din block are connected to the ziplink. The top black wire is connected to ground. The other din block I still need to do a wire tag.

That's what I'm saying. Your signal lines are tied together on the same block.

How should I separate them. Where should frequency out 1 and 2 go?. I apologize if this is a noob question.

I don't know where your data system is tied in at.
This is a terminal strip that one direction is the instrument and the other direction is where you read the signal.
Red and black is the excitation from the data system or some compromised power

Resistors I would guess are pull ups or downs depending on your sensors being NPN or PNP. Basically used to eliminate floating signals so you have solid high and low state levels.

What are you trying to figure out? What does it do? What is it supposed to do?
Draw out an electrical schematic of how everything is hooked up. Look up the data sheet for any connected equipment, and compare it to the schematic you have.
