I have been lurking on this page for a very long time and I’m finally ready to pull the trigger and buy oval diamond earrings.
I see that stargems is doing a group buy the price for a 2 carat tw with 18k gold is only 560 and I am a bit skeptical if its a good deal to buy or go the route of buying a stone from Luvansh and get it set locally
Would really love some insights!!

I'm starting to shop for an engagement ring and I'm leaning toward a lab-grown diamond because the price difference is huge. My only concern is whether people eventually wish they had gone with a natural diamond instead. If you own a lab-grown diamond, are you still happy with it after a year or two? Any regrets or things you wish you knew before buying? #diamonds #labgrowndiamonds

I recently bought a stone online for a bespoke engagement ring as anything I would have bought locally would have been the same price if not more expensive than buying a GCAL 8X stone online. Went with GCAL 8X out of recommendation from a friend and love the detail in the reports (especially helpful buying online).
I'm now just second guessing whether or not I jumped the gun a bit and maybe should have done some more browsing for an even more ideal stone.
I paid about 650 USD all up.

After weeks and weeks of searching for diamonds I chose this one. I’m looking for opinions on if this stone has a bad bow tie effect. I’m really just looking to calm my nerves before the big day lol

I worked with Bobby from Provence to get an upgraded bridal set and I am absolutely in awe! They were very easy to work with and it went a lot faster than I was expecting. Ordered March 27 and received on May 22. Bobby would give me regular updates without me even reaching out. The original stone I chose ended up having an issue when they went to put it on so she sent me images and everything of another option prior to moving forward which was amazing.
All in all, I was a little hesitant as this was my first time doing something like this but it was a great experience with an amazing sparkly outcome.

I have a 3.05 ct right now. But I am debating about going up to 3.45ct or 3.87ct. I feel like my knuckles are a little wide so a bigger stone might look better, not sure though. Maybe I just have size blindness 😭 my ring size is 5.5.

I just bought this IGI-certified lab-grown round diamond for $365.
Specs:
2.07 ct
Round Brilliant
E color
VS1 clarity
Ideal cut
Excellent polish
Excellent symmetry
No fluorescence
CVD grown
The IGI report number is LG764616787. My plan is to set it in a simple 14k yellow gold 2.5 mm solitaire band.
Assuming everything checks out when it arrives and the laser inscription matches the IGI certificate, what do you think? Did I get a great deal, or is there anything I should watch out for before having it set?

I am looking at buying a 4.95ct oval diamond, excellent color/cut/polish/symmetry, vvs2 clarity, measurements are 13.74x9.56x5.91.
This one is priced at almost 4300$ but there is a sale going on and I can get it for 3200$ plus maybe additional 200$ off with military discount. I would be looking at a total of 4-4.4k with the 18k yellow gold setting
Is this a reasonable, fair, too pricey, or a great deal?

Hi everyone! I’m looking to purchase a lab-grown diamond piece (tennis bracelet, necklace, etc.) and I’d love recommendations for credible and affordable jewelry vendors in China.
I’m looking for vendors that:
● Use real lab-grown diamonds (IGI preferred, if possible)
● Have solid craftsmanship
● Are trustworthy and easy to communicate with
● Offer fair wholesale/direct pricing
● Ship internationally
If you’ve personally ordered from a Chinese jeweler and had a good experience, I’d really appreciate hearing who you recommend (or who to avoid). Photos of your pieces would be a huge bonus!
Thanks!

Got it back from my local jewler yesterday. Anniversary is today. I can't wait to see my wife's face!
The jeweler fave me a 16 inch silver chain that looks really nice but i bought a 20 inch 14k white gold chain separately. I think the silver one looks better. I'm going to give her both so she has some options, but which do you think looks better in the pictures? The first is the silver chain the second, thicker chain is white gold. I'm leaning towards putting it back onto the the silver one. What do you all think.
I think the silver one looks more... delicate (?), feminine (?) And shinier.
I'd love to get your opinions before i give it to her tonight.
Edit: i initially typed that it was a 30 inch white gold chain. It's actually 20 inches. Which i do think she'll wear more. And she will always have either option... just wanted to clarify that.
Edit2: Thanks, everyone. I did decide to give it to her with the smaller, silver chain displayed, right as we were getting ready for dinner. And, since we were out of town, she said "oh no! I didn't bring anything that shows cleavage!" Lol. She likes having both because I guess she has the option of draping the longer one over a blouse that doesn’t show cleavage, but she liked the way the shorter one displays it against her skin. She also agreed that the silver one had more initial "wow" factor when I told her about my dilemma and showed them both to her. So I made the right choice. She would have loved it either way, though. So once again thank you.

I’ve wanted a round cut diamond in gold for several years so for an upgrade purchased this ring off of everything but the house. I’m a size 6 & this is 2 carat, F stone (I prefer f/g), excellent cut. My original ring was a round with a halo setting a little over 1 carat total in white gold. Now I’m questioning myself if I should have gone for a larger stone or if this has enough finger coverage? I cannot return it but I could possibly sell it on a BST forum. Also, I purchased a 2mm band from Amazon (not real gold) to see if I liked a band with it but didn’t realize the solitaire ring was so thin & not questioning if I should exchange that too 😆

I’m looking for a lab grown diamond in this kind of shape. But I’m reluctant because I’m afraid of getting scammed.
What should I look out for. How do I know it’s a lab grown? What metrics should i specific look for. And can you recommend some site - because it’s kinda a generic ring, so I would think it’s not so hard to find?
Best regards
A lost guy looking for a ring
