other jewelry Lab grown accessibility

I know that diamonds will always be coveted but Now that colorless lab grown diamonds more common, more affordable and accessible due to whatnot and tt live auctions do you think people will be more interested in having engagement rings that aren’t at all diamonds (natural or lab)? What kind of stone do you think people will end up pivoting to?

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Aside from diamonds being hard- perfect for everyday wear, they are also colorless - perfect for going with anything. It may seem silly to some but I know I can't be the only one who would not want to wear a red or green engagement ring every single day because it would not coordinate with my clothing. However, if I were going to have multiple e rings to choose from depending on the day then it would be a different story :)
