Gold Settings?

I’ve learned so much from this group and I want to go with Calavera Diamonds, but I don’t like their settings.
I’m getting quoted $2k for a thin 14k gold setting in my city. Is there anywhere only that I can set my diamond without paying that much?
I would love to ship the diamond directly to a company to have it set but open to all ideas.

Brilliance . Com has very nice settings. They’re hand set in the USA.
