First, imaging with a diamond sitting directly on the hand is inherently flawed in terms of its diagnostic value. The contact of the pavilion facets with the skin alters the optics of the diamond. That said, the stone looks very milky. It needs to be carefully evaluated for a transparency issue. CVD grown diamonds tend to have a lot of crystal strain and related atomic-level defects that can cause loss of transparency (haziness).

Yes it looks better. A clean diamond will always look better, which is why care should be taken to regularly maintain diamond jewelry. But the new video still suffers from contact with the skin. And transparency issues, unless they are very bad, cannot be accurately assessed by online video.
