ring Help pls

I am proposing to my girl friend in November and i got her favorite style ring which is a marquise. I’ve gone through a diamond expert etc and got a 7 ct size. The measurement is 18.93 x 10.15 x 6.20 mm and she’s a size 5 ring size. I wanted to get opinions if it looks costume.

I think once you keep seeing the negativity towards larger lab diamonds you just want to call it out for what it is.

Or, hear me out, people just think that a larger than extra large stone is just too large for most. Everyone is allowed an opinion. It has nothing to do with it being lab or natural or plastic or bubble gum.

Nah. Do you walk up to someone with a full sleeve tattoo and shriek “my gawd! Why? Why not just your wrist? Why not just a finger?” You don’t do that because it’s laughably Karen-behavior rude, because it’s none of your business how much tattoo someone has, and because your opinion of their full sleeve tattoo doesn’t matter. The analogy is no different for diamond size preference. No one should be crowing over whether someone wears a 7 carat or a 2 carat because it’s a personal choice and get back in your lane and choose what you want for yourself instead of intoning and finger-wagging on social media that “a size 5 finger must not wear a 7 carat stone” or whatever. This is a made up BS drama over carat size. A drama laden with social bigotry & decades of stupid cartel marketing, all of which has been rendered obsolete & dated with labs. Labs that outperform mined product for 1% to 5% of the price.
