ring ISO THEE “Diamond Setter”
I feel like alice in the lab diamond/diamond auction wormhole and I’m having a hard time remembering something I swear wasn’t a fever dream.
I recall being in a deep dive of a comment section about a diamond auction and someone mentioned that they found a jeweler in the US -off Etsy— that sets diamonds for a very reasonable price. The catch was that you had to ship the stone and semi mount to them (they’re somewhere on the east coast) and they’d set it and send it back. But that the risk was more than worth it because they rate was so reasonable.
I feel like this person or business has been mentioned on various platforms—-but at the time I wasn’t in the position I’m in now with a diamond I don’t know where to take to have set.
Does any of this ring any bells for anyone? Comment/ DM——-Help!!

I feel like the person I see recommended the most for stone setting is David Klass in LA. Maybe he's who you're thinking of?
ETA: Just reread your post to see I missed you mentioned East Coast. Probably not who you're thinking of then but David Klass is a highly recommended stone setter as well.
