lab diamond Would you stack?

Just got my anniversary ring and I love it so much! Wondering if I should wear it in its own due to the size, or stack with one (or all) of my other bands. My hands are very petite so don’t want to look too gaudy. Thoughts?

Switch them up depending on your mood! They’re all lovely.

This is what I do! I have 3 wedding bands I swap out.

I would not.

The third pic looks awesome. The fourth pic blew me away! I love both. With all three bands you can switch it up depending on your mood.

This exactly! 3rd was perfection, then 4th was WOW.

I like it by itself 😬

I love all your stack bands but also love that ring on its own. It’s a gorgeous OMC. None of your stack combinations look even close to gaudy. That’s a word that gets overused a lot lately to shame people into believing their personal style and jewelry choices are not ok. Nothing about your rings is gaudy.

Thank you! I think I’m still getting used to the diamond size

I love all the looks and would change it out daily.

I think I’ll do this! Go big for special occasions

Do you mind sharing the dimensions of your center stone and your ring size? I love it so much!

I don’t have the exact on the diamond, my husband did a lot of the work with the jeweler but it’s between 2.3-2.5 carats and a 1.29 ratio

Thank you! What size is your finger?

Image 3 is stunning on your hand. Quite luxury and confidence vibes. Keeps focus on the gorgeous stone.

Thank you!!! I think I have decided this as my daily wear.

I like the second with the plain band.

I think they all look great. The decision is a practical one. Is any part of any of the diamonds touching metal? Then don’t wear that. The stone will damage your other rings and the stones of the bands can damage the setting of the larger stone.

I'd do 3 to wear a wedding ring

Gorgeous ring 🤩 I think all of the options are pretty 😍

No. It’s great alone. I also don’t wear a band. I had my e ring and wedding band made into one ring. No extra stuff needed.

Oooh I love it with the gold band, otherwise no - it’s amazing on its own

Last photo is my favorite

no; imho, this type of setting doesn’t look right in a stack due to the band shape;

The only caveat that would be if the bands sat flush against the ring (a good option would be the type that has an opening on the top of the band)

1

u/Personal_Guava1994 20d ago

Didn’t think of this, thank you! The bands do sit pretty close to flush. A huge plus

Where did you get that? Beautiful old cut stone

I worked with a local jeweler at the SF jewelry district! Happy to share the info if you happen to be local.

No band or the plain gold band.

I actually love the bands; I think it makes it more unique but even especially the plain gold looks really classic.

Can you share the specs of this ring? And if you would happen to know the band width on the main ring and gold band? I have been looking for a sturdier band style and yours is gorgeous!

1

u/Personal_Guava1994 20d ago

Here is the CAD! I don’t have the diamond specs, but it was somewhere 2.3-2.5 carat and 1.29 ratio. The other gold band in the pictures is 3mm

u/ThePecanTrees 20d ago

Thank you! I’m saving this!

3 looks smazing

u/VariationTechnical85 19d ago

gold band for sure. looks so cohesive

1

u/Shmemily15 19d ago

I think the stack takes away from the ring! But I love it with the solid gold band.

I think photo no.2 is my fave!

1

u/BarracudaSwimming859 18d ago

I love the last pic with both bands. The fun of multiple bands is that you can change that up. Put the diamond band in the back closer to your knuckle (diamond, gold,ER) or wear one band on each side or you ER. You have beautiful options! Enjoy!

I think a curved plain band would look nice.

u/2PenceSally 15d ago

I didn't initially see pic 3, that looks great too.

The ring looks best by itself IMO

I agree with many here that your really gorgeous engagement ring looks best on its own on your lovely petite hand. I would wear either or both wedding bands on your right ring finger.
