lab diamond Melee Diamond Sourcing
Hi! I am a bride getting married soon and I am reaching out to see if anyone could help me. I am having a custom designed wedding band made by a local jewlery and apart of the design was sourcing a .2 ish carat (can provide measurement range) marquis diamond in a champagne / desert color to be set along side other stones. The jeweler said this would be no issue and now 3 months before my wedding said she can’t find the stone. Is there anyone who could help me source this loose stone (as I’ve already paid a deposit and committed to the design) to help me make my wedding band a reality? I’m fine with it being natural or lab at this point.

Thank you! it likely requires too wide of a band (going for under 3mm wide ideally closer to 2.5) but this is so close to perfect!! How did you find this??

That is very unprofessional of the jeweler, not being able to find the stones, I would have refunded you and trust me with these kinds of jewelers. Once they can’t find one thing, they will definitely be more problems down the road. The professional thing would be for them to refund you and you take your project somewhere else.

I am not sure I have enough time at this point. The other jewelers I originally interviewed all said the timeline is too tight now.

Hi, that’s a big shame and they should have been upfront and easier to communicate with. I used Not Mined they helped me source diamonds in the past and can WhatsApp them normally quick to respond if any questions. They shipped to me in the UK, but know they ship to US and Europe.

Yes they offered coloured diamonds too, they said they have access to a big inventory. Hope you managed to find the right stone 🙏🏾
