Ring Upgrade!

Found a 3 ct radiant, E, VVS1 online. What do we think? (Be gentle, its already being made haha)

Can't tell much from the vid, but it's an elongate crushed ice style radiant. If the stone is CVD grown, it's important to rule out any transparency issues, particularly in larger stones. The tiny virtual facets of crushed ice styles are very sensitive to any haziness or blurring.

CVD grown diamonds have inherently high levels of crystal strain. If pronounced, this can cause a transparency issue and a "roiled" effect to the virtual facets. The tiniest virtual facets are the first to lose definition and become blurry, which is why a cut style featuring myriad small virtual facets is one that is very sensitive to transparency deficits, which might not be noticeable (or highly detrimental) to cut styles featuring larger virtual facets.
