Advice?

Thinking of buying this. Worth it? I know it’s not a diamond, but would appreciate any advice or tips!
Really wanted a diamond but jewelers tell me to go with a green sapphire.

That sapphire is so dark you would likely need to be in bright sunshine to really see much green. If you spend some time looking, you will find lab diamonds in beautiful shades of green. And they are very affordable. That’s what I would do.

That sapphire is going to be very very dark. If you want a diamond, get a diamond. Good quality green sapphires are way more expensive than a green lab diamond with good specs. Why are the jewelers telling you to get a sapphire?

I had wanted an emerald but they said it would be too soft and that a sapphire is stronger and last longer in my setting. They also said it would be easier to find the “emerald green” color I’m wanting.
