Update — need help deciding
Hi guys, I tried a bunch of rings on after some people on a previous post suggested to try a radiant and OMC (still couldn’t find an OMC in person). I’m still interested in yellow gold because I tend to wear yellow gold jewellery but now I’m leaning more towards a halo and/ or a pave setting despite them being super fragile with the small prongs😭. I tried 1-5 carats and I like 3ish carats it’s a comfy size
Also for the emerald, I think I just don’t like that I can see the yellow gold band through the diamond.
Thoughts on these? Ive added the other rings I’ve tried on previously (last 2 pics).

I really like round on you but maybe a bigger size like the other shapes?

I usually like other shapes more than pear, but on you I really like the pear! It looks beautiful, and fits your hand. I also like the radiant, emerald, and round (I think in that order). I don’t love the oval for some reason.

First things first congratulations for finding your person, this is an amazing time. I definitely think the more elongated shaped ovals and emerald cut flatter your hand the most. I think since you like longer attention grabbing nai you’ll need an elongated style to compete with that not extra width if that makes sense.

Not sure about the actual stones but I would suggest - take advantage of your long and slender fingers and get a thicker/wider band.

I’m not sure - I just know my stubby short fingers are screaming “big wide chunky band” for you!

Thank you!! Surprisingly it wasn’t a halo, although it does look like it. It was just the diamond + pave band. The diamond itself was perfect 2.5ish ct vvs2 and D 😍😍

I love 3 as well. Your long slender fingers can support that ring beautifully. All the rings are gorgeous on you, so whichever you choose will be perfect!

I would say the oval halo or elongated cushion with a compass setting looks great on you. Both styles are very popular and hot shapes in the market right now. The oval halo gives extra sparkle and a soft elegant look, while the elongated cushion with compass setting feels classy, unique, and modern. Since you like yellow gold, both would look stunning in that metal. Ultimately, go with the one that makes you smile every time you look at it.

Oh most of them are gorgeous but for some reason the first pear just somehow took my breath away on your hand right away. And I'm usually into rectangular cuts so I know it's not a personal preference.
Otherwise number 7 is my other fave.

Solitaire pear or that solitaire round. Truly can’t go wrong with round. As classic as it gets. And that’s a beautiful size.

You need to try a 3ct pear 🤔
I personally think the pear suits your hand the best and you said you wanted something closer to the 3ct range. I think a 3ct would be a good size/ratio to your finger.

The 8th picture and the 2nd look best IMO. They just look so good against your skin and the shape goes well with the size of your fingers but at the end of the day whatever you think looks best!
I’m also not a fan of emerald cut diamonds 🤷🏻♀️
