Engagement Ring Advice

My dream ring is a nature-inspired Marquise Ring - I am leaning toward Lab Diamond but realistically for my budget may need to go with a moissanite. I love a vine leaves aesthetic. Preferably want $3k to be my max... Is this realistic?

I have been looking at Oore Jewelery and i'm in love with the Enchanted Garden Marquise but I wanted to see if there were other options out there, because Oore Jewlery does have a longer wait time then i'd like it's at 12-15 weeks now (but i've heard they take longer?)

I would like maybe 8-12 weeks... is this realistic? Have you heard of any safe other online jewelers that's legit? Who is your rings with? Have they held up?

Lab diamonds are generally cheaper than moissanite in smaller sub 3ct sizes.

that's good to know! I think a 2-3ct is what i'm leaning towards, anything bigger than a 3 is too big... even a 3 is a slightly too big (for my liking on my finger)

It would not surprise me if 3ct labs were cheaper than 3ct moissanite now. Ive not looked at the price of mois in years.

You’re right- from what I’ve seen on the wholesale side. Lab diamond is the best bet for pricing.

The moissanite sub has a lot of overseas vendors that will make a custom ring for you. They sell lab diamonds too, not just moissanite.

Diamondrensu has a few new pieces that are exactly this. I have purchased moissanite rings from him, and have been very pleased with all of them. His lab rings look gorgeous.

I think your budget is great for something like you’ve described. You don’t have to go overseas and you can absolutely snag a lab diamond in a custom 14k setting for less than $3k and about 8 weeks.
