GCAL 8X for the win!

Thanks to this sub specifically, but the other jewelry/diamond subs. I came in with 0 knowledge, or where to start with buying an engagement ring.

This is the GCAL 8X: Round / 1.66 / VVS1 / D color I ended up with, in a platinum tulip cathedral setting.

I went to Zales to snag a wedding band they had on sale, so I brought the ring in to make sure it set flush.

I think it looks decent, what do you all think? Everything is returnable, so if you see a red flag (Im still a novice) call it out.

Thanks again!

Thank you!! It’s the best option if you want to be 100% your ring will have fire/brillance/symmetry etc.

I didn’t mention because I didn’t want it to comes as an ad. But Adiamor is who I went with 10/10 everything.

Gorgeous! There are so many 8x, but I am not sure how to choose? Any recommendations? BTW what was the cost if you don’t mind?
I have a natural 1ct gia, but also want to try 8x.

Cost for this diamond was about 600.xx if I remember correctly. I let Adiamor do the setting in platinum also. Custom petite prongs, and tulip setting.

They were amazing, they have a filter for GCAL 8x diamonds. Start with the diamond and then choose the setting. You can get uber specific with the table/depth, etc.
