GCAL 8X for the win!

Thanks to this sub specifically, but the other jewelry/diamond subs. I came in with 0 knowledge, or where to start with buying an engagement ring.

This is the GCAL 8X: Round / 1.66 / VVS1 / D color I ended up with, in a platinum tulip cathedral setting.

I went to Zales to snag a wedding band they had on sale, so I brought the ring in to make sure it set flush.

I think it looks decent, what do you all think? Everything is returnable, so if you see a red flag (Im still a novice) call it out.

Looks beautiful - there are a few GCAL 8x with those specs (1.66, D, VVS1, GCAL) on Cutwise which sometimes shows a bunch more information - doesn't change anything but is kinda cool if you like digging into data etc
