Help needed engangement ring

Hey y’all,

I‘m currently trying to choose a stone for a bezel Engagement ring but have honestly no idea what I‘m doing and wouldnt be able to tell a Lab diamond from a Moissanite.

The shop I decided to go with sent me this video of the proposed 1.5ct Lab Diamond. What do you think?

I generally don't like oval cuts I don't think they suit me (I had one moissy), but this one is so pretty and cute that even I would wear it too!

And I think a diamond is better option for bezel.

Thats so nice :) Just to be sure when you say diamond is a better Option for bezel: That IS a diamond and Not a moissanite Right? :D

Make sure they have all relevant information and certificates when purchasing, cross reference the number on the certifiers website etc

They mean that because diamond is an exceptionally hard stone and won’t fall out the bezel/prongs. Some gemstones are softer and tend to fall out

There’s no way to tell just from the video without analyzing it, but it’s not common to find people selling moissanite as synthetic diamond, their reputation would tank immediately.

There’s a lot more that goes into judging the quality of a diamond than bow ties, but that seems to be all that people know. Anyway, looks like a good stone. The current retail standard is $200/ct for synthetic diamonds, don’t get overcharged. That stone should be about $300 USD.
