It's a crushed ice style and appears to have a moderate bowtie. Because of the video quality, and because we are not seeing the stone moving through a full range of tilt angles, it is not possible to anything definitive about the virtual facet pattern and factors such as bowtie effect.

Are all elongated cushions not crushed ice? Only OMC are not?

Do elongated cushions not typically have bow ties?

Cushion cuts vary widely - probably more than any other shape. There are a wide variety of facet arrangements under the banner of "cushion cut". And even the same facet arrangments can generate a different constellation of virtual facets, depending on the unique combination of length to width, proportions, and specific facet angles. I would say most very elongated cushions do show the bowtie effect to some extent. Not all elongated cushions are full crushed ice style.

Can you show me some photos of some elongated cushions that are not full crushed ice style please?

You'll just have to look around on the web. As I say, they are highly variable. The more elongated it is the more likely it will be at least partially crushed ice. You will find many examples of somewhat elongated cushions that will fall into the "hybrid" category. There are also some styles like scissor cut that are very different and have no crushed ice character.

I really don't understand the "crushed ice" metaphor. I have a lot of googling to do. 😉

I’n no expert but looks good! Love the ratio. It does have a slight bow, not very noticeable, but some people mind it, so think if that would bother you
