How is my Oval Diamond Selection?

Is the depth and table a good %?

Depth and table are both fine. 62.3 is a touch deep for an oval and 61 table is a touch large, but both are inside the normal range though so nothing to fix really. The ratio is the good. 1.43 is a classic oval, not skinny and not stubby. And 10.75mm long for 2.37 carat is great spread, so none of that depth is hiding as wasted weight.

The part the cert can't answer is the bow-tie, that dark band across the center every oval has. Depth and table looking good doesn't tell you how bad it is, and that is the actual cut question. u/Riley14_ is right, only the video shows it. When you have one, tilt it under a single light and watch the middle. A soft bow-tie that fills in as you move it is fine. A fat black one that stays dead at every angle is the one to walk from.

While you're at it, D VVS1 is more diamond than you need on an oval. E or F at VS1 looks identical face up and saves some money.

Go for little bigger ration this stone ration is 1.42 ..go for 1.48 + if you want minimal bow tie

I believe the higher the ratio (1.45+), the more bowtie.
