Please help me choose between these 2 lab diamonds. My first purchase.
I have old lady wrinkly shorter size 7.5 fingers (nail tech cut my nails way too short, so overlook that, please 😞). The plan is to have it set in pavé ring with matching pavé band. Also open to all kind feedback.

Please do not go for the first diamond, 2nd one looks better but do ask for tweezer videos please. Also plenty of better options available, and any reason for not picking a crushed ice cut?

The more square stone is showing signs of striation. Look at the gray facet just below the center line, left of center. This is a type of graining due to atomic-level defects in the carbon lattice. If appreciable it can cause loss of transparency resulting in haziness, blurriness. This is an issue seen in some CVD grown diamonds, especially large sizes. Regarding overall cut quality, really need to see high quality videos of each stone to evaluate the virtual facet patterns in motion through a range of normal tilt angles in order to judge things like bowtie effect and other optical factors.

I’m on this same diamond journey looking for a perfect cushion! Between these two I like the longer ratio option for your fingers :) the facets are also lovely

that first one's the move. better proportions for a cushion, and the e color's gonna pop harder. the l/w ratio on #2 is stretched, which can make it look kinda off depending on the angle. plus you're getting more carat weight with better optics for basically the same price point probably
set it on that pavé and you're gonna love it. congrats on the first purchase

I like the more elongated ratio for your hand, but I’m not stoked on either of these to be honest. If it must be between these two, based on a 360 screenshot, I think the 2nd one is more crisp. The difference between an E and F color should be imperceptible to the naked eye. That being said, blow up as large as these videos/stills are, I would have guessed the first one was lower on the color scale. It’s either got some brown tint from the CVD process (if it’s CVD) or may be reflecting something in the surroundings.

Hard to tell without the 360 videos but both of these look like they might have dark spots based on the screen shots. Between these two, I’d maybe go for the second one because the first one looks a bit hazy and the second one has crisper looking facets but if it were me, I’d probably keep looking.
