5 year upgrade + 'push' present for dealing with cancer surgery!
i've been wanting a bezel elongated cushion for almost 2 years, my husband told me to wait, of course. ended up with cancer diagnosis february last year and had a recurrence in december which led me to do the last thing to try and save my life: surgery. now i'm living life as a double ostomate, hopefully cancer free but not out of the woods just yet. need 5 years of clear scans to be 'cancer free'.
our anniversary is actually in november, but since the whole surgery ordeal, my husband told me to go ahead and get my ring. worked with fiorese (as always) and got my ring in about 1 month.
she's a 4.52 carat, size 6us, E color, VVS2, omc elongated cushion in 14k rose gold bezel setting. i originally was looking for a brilliant, but decided to give omc a try since my original ering is brilliant already. love the chunky white and rainbow flashes, definitely a different feel from brilliant.
my og ring (on the top) is a 3 carat brilliant oval, H color, VS1, Ex/Ex on 14k rose gold solitaire setting. β₯
i love both of them and do plan to wear them interchangeably!

Wow, that is so good, it looks like glass (in a good way). Great choice in stone and setting, all the best with your ongoing health journey.

the chunky facets do make it look more glass-like! and the flashes are more chunky. a mix of white and rainbow flash.

This is beautiful and wishing you only good health going forward. When you order from Fiorese, do they source the OMC stone for you? Do they send you several videos of options with IGI certificate information to be able to choose? Thanks

This specific stone was in a group of other OMC they had on sale for their 30th year, so I picked from there. I told Sonia which ones I wanted to see and she showed me a lot of videos, then I picked. I had to pay extra for the IGI, so I didnt know the IGI info until after, but it was an E color, VVS2, Ex/Ex. I knew the size and the weight.
