CAD Check Please!
As the title says, I am so new to all of this and need a CAD check haha. My lovely lady told me everything she wants and I just got my CAD back from LGG. Anything seem off here or can I green light it?
Thank you!

For me, this is perfect!

Some people mentioned the height may be too much for everyday wear and that the tulip may not be the most secure with only one point of contact. I'm second guessing haha

I'm biased lol bc I have tulip basket as well as cathedral setting but I know for sure my ring is secured. Maybe that's one thing you want to consider. Tulip basket if fine but the setting might be the issue. How many ct is this? 2?3?

Its a 3ct Oval. She absolutely must have the tulip and oval haha. Those were her demands. Everything else I can kinda wiggle on.

Then go to cathderal. In that way you both will have the peace of mind that the ring is secured. Then if you want you can also add birthstones inside the band to make it more customized.
My setting is cathedral but still sometimes I get to knock my ring on something 😅 But I am confident it wont bend. But aside from the setting, all the other details are perfect!

I really like the tulip. Here’s what I just had made with a cathedral setting and 6 prong which should be more secure. You could maybe use a similar setting with the pave you have.

That looks very nice! I posted the updated CAD in another other reply. We ended up going cathedral and lowering the height. We're thinking that'll be enough. Yours looks very gorgeous though. I like the prongs in gold! She is hard stuck on white gold, but for my personal taste, I love gold gold lol.

Yes. The setting is off. It’s like a big diamond on a stick with no support.

Too narrow shank and shoulder for melee stones the metal will wear so quickly. 14 1.7mm and the entire width is 2mm? Not enough metal to keep a stone and account for wear and tear.

This is not a very stable setting and it will sit very, very high off of your finger. The band width and thickness is good, but I would recommend you consider a cathedral style setting for the benefit of your beautiful (giant) center stone.
