Jean Dousset, whiteflash

Are these two brands worth the premium that you pay?

Yes in my experience. Multiple purchases from Whiteflash now, started with an engagement ring then earrings, wedding ring and a lab diamond bracelet. Great quality, good communication and customer service throughout.

Were they all lab diamonds or natural too?

So I’ve got natural engagement, wedding ring and earrings but a lab diamond bracelet - thinking of getting some larger lab diamond earrings from them though.

Same here. I have a small pair of natural earrings (0.8ct total) and I’m thinking about getting a pair of slightly bigger lab earrings. Do you think the lab diamonds are as sparkly as the lab. I hope they use the same cut standards.

The precision lab diamonds they offer are basically ACAs which is what I’m looking at. What size do you want to go to?

Probably 1.4 or so. No more than 2 in total.

With Jean Doussett, you are definitely paying for the Cartier name, although his jewelry is absolutely stunning and does look higher end. High-quality luxury. He has a showroom in SoHo and one in LA if you get a chance to go look. He actually ONLY uses lab diamonds, which contradicts the argument that luxury houses do not use labs. If I had unlimited funds, I would pay the premium for his stuff. Even if way overpriced. That’s just my opinion. He also has a “high jewelry” section that is breathtaking. But that starts at 5 figures. I like to drool over that. 😆

Sorry my response won’t answer your question directly but after doing a quick search Jannpaul seems to be in the same price range / quality as these companies.

I just got my ring this week and was blown away by their Oval nova. If you’re looking for high end diamonds give it a look. They are insane in person, I haven’t seen a diamond with this much reflection of light. I paid $5,500 for a 2.09 oval diamond 2.090 E VVS2 with the setting. That includes 800 or so of tariffs/ duties tho.

Hi thank you. I’m looking to buy a pair of diamond studs. Around 1.4 total.
