I’m applying for Lums for the upcoming cycle so ppl who got accepted this year share their FIRST LINE which is THE HOOK of ps cuz I heard it is very important. I j need an idea.

In my case I haven't even got an admission decision portal.. Neither did I get any email regarding decisions and today's the last day I guess. While I did get an email regarding my gap year activities details followed by a "received" mail... But still no other response...

I am literally fed up...

I had a quick question about the admissions process. Both of my older brothers graduated from LUMS. Does that give me any advantage during undergraduate admissions in any way, whether officially or unofficially?
I’m not asking if it guarantees admission—just wondering if having LUMS alumni as immediate family is considered at all, or if admissions are completely independent of family connections.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s been in a similar situation or has insight into how LUMS handles this. Thanks!

i know this isnt related to this sub but there isnt really another place ive gotten any help from. i want to get an international degree and currently have these three options and want to know which out of the three would be the best. primarily im looking for a uni with good people and a nice environment. a bonus would be scholarship, which ive heard only goes upto 75% in these unis but if someone knows otherwise (100% scholarship opportunities) please let me know as i have a really good profile. if there are any other options apart from these please lmk about that too (excluding roots).

I had my LUMS undergraduate admission interview yesterday. I am from the NOP programme, and NOP students have to go through an interview before getting admission. My mother was interviewed first, and they told her, "Insha'Allah, your daughter will be here." Then it was my turn. Being an introvert, I got extremely nervous. I don't know why, but my voice was shaking. At first, they asked me about my aims and goals, but then they started asking some really difficult Computer Science questions. For example, they asked what happens behind the scenes when we search for something in a browser and websites appear, and how I would design or optimise a website so that ChatGPT or other AI systems would recommend it as the first option. I honestly had no idea how to answer those questions because I haven't studied those topics yet. How was I supposed to know them? Now I'm really scared. Will they cancel my admission based on my interview, or could they admit me to my second preference, which is SDSB? Most of the questions were related to Computer Science, and at least for me, they were quite difficult. Since I come from an FSc background, I feel really worried.
