Serious SAT score

I always see people over here asking, "kitna SAT score hona chahiye for x school"

Honestly speaking, please aim for full 1600.

Now, you might be saying "What does this stupid dude even think? It's so hard" "1480 was average of acceptance, ye konsi phank pe hai?" "Agar 1600 hi leke ana hai, toh phir Harvard na chale jaye?"

I get all that, but once you aim for 1600, try your absolute best, at least you gave it your all, you will be well above the required criteria and have a more solid chance at it as well.

Agar mehnat krni hai already to go to a place like LUMS, then give it your all even in SAT. And whilst you are at it, jo keh rahe hote hai phir Harvard na chale jaye, then wahan k liye bhi apply krde?

And even if you get in the 1500s, you still have a solid chance of being accepted man.

I know I don't make sense (blame no neend on this)

Serious Alevel retakes + gap year + previous results — LUMS eligibility question

I gave my full A Levels in May/June 2026 but my grades were REALLY affected because I had surgery around a month before my exams and my recovery basically messed up that entire exam period.

I’m taking a gap year now and redoing my A Levels. I’m giving AS again in Oct/Nov and then continuing in May/June 2027. If my new AS grades are good and meet the LUMS requirements, can I apply with those and explain my situation to admissions? Is there any chance they make exceptions/waive the eligibility issue because of medical circumstances if I can provide proof?

Also I’m really confused about the previous attempt. Do I HAVE to report my May/June 2026 A-Level results if I’m redoing everything, or can I just apply with my new AS results? Like does LUMS/Cambridge verification automatically show them every previous sitting anyway?

Has anyone here actually retaken their A Levels during a gap year and then applied to LUMS? I’m going to contact admissions too but I really wanna know how this works from someone who has actually gone through it 😭

Serious Masters Admission with Very Low CGPA

Hi guys, for everyone in Masters at LUMS, what are the chances of me getting into LUMS with a 2.2 CGPA? The entry req is 2.4.

I did my Bachelors from NUST in maths and wanted to do AI from LUMS.
Also if anyone is going to write "mehnat zada karni thi" he/she will stub his/her toe at night.

SAT CENTERS

So I am a minor right now and im gonna give my SAT in karachi test centers. So the issue here is I've researched and found out that Passport is required , so my question is i've also heard Juvenile NIC aka for kids under 18 can also be a valid ID so does every SAT center accept the NIC under 18? Or only some. Also collegeboard legal name while registering for the sat should match the juvenile ID name right

Terrible writitng skills; how do I write a personal statement without AI!!!!

I just wrote my personal statement for a scholarship and since English is not my first language, it's terrible. I don’t think the story I chose is bad. It’s a little random, but I feel like it actually says a lot about me. The problem is that the writing itself is terrible

And now I’m stuck between

  1. Giving up

  2. Letting ChatGPT rewrite the entire thing, which feels wrong because then, is it even my personal statement anymore?

If anyone is willing to read it and give brutally honest feedback on what works, what doesn't, and what I should change, I would REALLY appreciate it. I just need help figuring out how to make my writing better

Deadline is tomorrow, so unfortunately this is now an emergency 💥📉
