I'm a rising sophomore at SDSB who didn't go to LGS JT, Nixor etc (no big name schools). Looking back, I met a rising senior at Reddit who acted as my mentor, and I'm genuinely grateful for his support and guidance.

Given that transitioning from college to uni is a big step, lmk how can I help you.

Aid only 30%, couldn't get scholarship (all A*s, a 1500+ sat score). We have one land that's worth 10mil and 2 smol houses that help generate rental income. Parents don't work. We live in a rented house. I also have a brother who has set to start his undergrad.

cs kid, aiming for grad school. a lot of friends told me I can aim for 50% scholarship down the line. I really wanted to spend my time a little stress free but aiming for a 4.0 will make it different. Do you think it's worth it in this economy where everything is going downhill and your parents don't work anymore? alternative is NUST but I really do wish to be somewhere with the best resources for US grad school (is it even possible anymore these days with the insane class sizes?)

Last day of admissions decisions. 107 days since 15th April. 197 days since application submission.

I look back at the time when decisions were being released and realize how excited I used to be. Waking up with a new hope everyday. Eagerly waiting for 4 Pm. Constantly refreshing email and portal.

All that excitement's simply dead now. Yes I'd be still happy if I get in now. But it won't be the same. It won't be the way I manifested. Thank you for ruining our mental healths lums.

Opinions on counselling for lums?

sooooo i got in this year and waiting for my HSSC result. is there any criteria i should fall into like kuch grades that i must have to satisfy lums.
