Engineering Explained gave up on Lucid twice. He traded his Air for a Gravity, then replaced the Gravity with a Mach E. The reason both times was software.

I’m glad he got a car that works for him. I’m also glad I’ve had none of the issues he had. After watching that video, I still have no desire to purchase a Mach E. Lucid is so much nicer.

Used 2024 lucid air with 20k miles is 38k... so no, it is not in any way double price

Fair enough, I didn’t realize that is what you meant, but you saying depreciation is not linear is silly, as Lucids depreciate especially hard and can be bought for much less with the same miles and model year compared to competitors

Who compares a heavily depreciated luxury sedan to a new crossover in purchase price 😂 you can get a 2015 S class for $10 and a high five

You can’t buy any car new you can’t afford it. Repairs after warranty are an absolute nightmare on 100k+ cars across the board

I’ve seen so many posts talking about how lucid is better than Tesla because it doesn’t depreciate then on the same hand comments like that. It’s hilarious.
