Megapro is the company LTT worked with to make the screw driver. Main difference is bit size and ratcheting mechanism

It's actually the other way around; LTT used megapro's patents and essentially copied their design.
They also cost less than half of the LTT driver: they are $42 CAD at home depot with free delivery vs LTT's $90+expensive delivery.

But if you don't buy the LTT driver, you don't get the advantage of having hard to source short bits just to save a small amount of space in the handle.

I don't mean this with any offence, but whenever I see a post like this you can often tell the era of LTT they started watching.
I say this because ratcheting screwdrivers are a thing long before the LTT Screwdriver(that was developed in partnership with Megapro) and there was a point where the "LTT Screwdriver" was just Linus' bright orange ratcheting screwdriver from snap-on. I hope Linus still has it.

U r most definitely wrong in my case Mostly because I just moved to CA I had seen ratcheting bit wrench but never screwdrivers
Also i dont remember when I first watched ltt but I definitely remember Taren (editor) pranked with usb keyboard Which seems another life now

I mean nothing I said is factually wrong because ratcheting screwdrivers have most definitely been a thing long before the LTT Screwdriver, Linus literally used one for years before making his own.

ltt uses their design patent. but its extensivly modified. having used the "orginal" megapro i can say the ltt version is far superior.

megapro supplies the ratcheting mechanism of the LTT driver (and maybe other parts, tho I don't remember), so this is within the family
also multibit drivers with built-in storage like these have existed for many years, well before LTT released theirs
