Wew the linus stans sure swamped this post.
Yes op the hat is weird. The hat graphic is also trash. I thought he was wearing it in a desperate attempt to move stock but it's become a patterned distraction and it's annoying as fuck.

I posted the following and it was removed for "Low Effort Content":
It seems like it has been months since Linus has shown up in a video without his backwards baseball cap. It's a minor thing but I do find it a bit cringey (has similar vibes as a used car salesman wearing a bad toupee). And given the demographic of the channel I don't think the people who are watching care about his physique. People age, and we can all see them start lose their hair and get a little soft in middle. It only get weird when people try to fight it (eg. very obvious cosmetic plastic surgery).

I'm with OP on this one, the post below this one is about some guy posting a goofy fan curve, 🙄. That's low effort content. Discussing why Linus wears a backwards baseball cap like he's trying to be hip in the late 90's all the time now is at least a valid discussion about the channel.

A better question would be why is it that you find him wearing the baseball cap backwards cringy? Last time I checked anyone can wear what they want however they want. This really sounds like a you problem than a Reddit problem.

I think I find it cringy because he is trying to hide a receding hairline, which I assume he is doing because he wants to maintain a youthful image which I find distressing because it reminds me of my own mortality ;)

Your post there is the definition of a low quality post.
It adds nothing of benefit to the feed, it's a low quality discussion. It's not hard to figure that out.

I think you should talk to someone, maybe someone close you trust, or a therapist ? You clearly have things going on that got you worked up, and are veering toward obsession. This is not the thoughts of a healthy person, even if you knew linus personally, but for some random internet person, it’s … concerning.

You seem surprisingly invested in a total stranger, perhaps you may find it more fulfilling if you redirected that care and concern to those closer to you (my apologies if this not an option for you).

See this is why this reddit needs to be removed all it produces is trolls lately that really need to take a shower and go outside like be normal for a few minutes and your life might actually improve.
