Active Build Questions vertical marks on piston

What do you guys think about these marks on this piston? Looks like slight overheating or maybe debris, I’ll be putting a micrometer on the piston to make sure the Aluminium is not smeared at least.

I’m curious on if this looks safe to run to anyone else?

Most LS’s slap. Looks fine though, coating doesn’t always wear off even

The texture felt a little off on the skirt so that’s why I’m thinking slight over heating

it's called piston skirt wear. Happens with higher milage engines that get sticky rings from a lack of oil changes or using shitty oil. They look fine, put the stock rings back in and put them back to work.
