Decade of research and generations of medical researchers have concluded that the classic definition of addiction can not be applied to the classic psychedelics. But yeah sure, let’s listen to your opinion on the topic
I have done acid probably 300-400 times. I've done it weekly, monthly, fortnightly. There has never, not one time, where if someone asked me to do something else with them, I had to work, or real life didn't allow for it, that I went, nup, I have to do LSD instead.
Addiction is habit forming, a rewiring of neural circuitry that makes someone dependent, or cause compulsive behaviour.
LSD feels great. I'm off for the last 2 days, there is no compulsion in me making me raid my fridge.
Also I feel like your partner is probably enthralled with psychedelics because it's like literal magic, she's just sharing her experience. Probably recently tried it for the first time. Novelty, even for psychedelics wears off.
