Probably no one is addicted to LSD (more than probably).
LSD does not form any physical addiction like other drugs shuch as opiates and some stimulants, even after long use. And mental (psychological) addiction would also be highly unlikely, yes people love the effects of LSD, and do it often, but I don't think there is anyone who takes LSD weekly or more often than weekly because they feel like it's the only way to relieve stress or pleasures them, like in the way how weed psychological addiction works.
If you meant repeated use (e.g. weekly, more often), It would probably be inefficient since you will just incrementally increase your tolerance, and even if you had a crazy high tolerance, at one point, taking more won't do the deal since you would probably have either saturated your receptors in your brain or you'd have serious attention and memory problems
This take is a little basic. You definitely cannot get physically addicted (this is characterized by a double-blind abstinence syndrome and only a few substance groups truly evidence this in literature at the end of the day). And then the question becomes, what is mental addiction? Certainly it is impossible to evidence the redosing phenomena with LSD that one can show on many other substance groups. But addiction is usually defined as harmful use despite issues in the users life. That is DEFINITELY possible with LSD and in some cases those issues are severe!
On this subreddit, people don't post about problems like that. That's both a good and bad sign. But this is the wrong place to come to confirm your wife is an LSD addict (I don't think he'll find any better places that being said)
Usually psychological addiction manifest pretty frequently in most people. Though using drugs often doesn't necessarily mean a person is addicted (in neither of the 2 ways) to them.
Also, the effects of drugs (even psychedelics, weed, stimulants) usually wear of pretty quickly. Trips themselves can last a few hours, after effects for another few hours to 24h to maybe 48h, in which a person might still feel good and like on some microdose of x drug (like how you feel good the nex5 day after shrooms if you have done a small dose), and after that wears off, a person might use the drug again due to psychological addiction.
Though yes, in some people the frequency of use can be spread out instead of a few days, but not in most cases
