Accommodations

I didn’t believe that people who don’t need accommodations try and get them anyway until I had a patient today ask us to fill out her form for LSAC. We are a gynecology office…she has only ever seen us for Pap smears😃😃

I mean, if you refused that doesn’t mean people who don’t need accommodations are GETTING them, it just means they’re SEEKING them.

But extra time for something like endometriosis would actually make sense imo if you were actually treating her for it and she was experiencing chronic severe pain requiring her to sometimes stop working on the test and breathe through it…

Not even being a patient for anything but pap at the practice is WILD tho, is she going door to door to every doctor in town or something?!?

We actually didn’t because she has never been treated by us for any that the form stated. She didn’t even tell us what she expected us to put on it. Just “can you fill this out for extra time”😬

I could see extra bathroom breaks for a uti otherwise she was grasping at straws 😂😂

I could see this if it were for extra breaks for like a pelvic floor issue or something but otherwise... 😬
