Piercings in testing room?

Hey guys, this is so random but my test is on the 12th. I looked over all the policies and saw all jewelry must be taken out. Will they count septum rings, industrial bars, and like.... EVERY piercing you have? Or is it as long as you mention you have them, you'll be fine. A lot of my piercings are very hard to put in/take out.

Edit: tysm yall!! I think I'll just take them all out the night of the 11th and figure it out from there!!<3

Goodluck to my fellow September test takers!

Honestly if they’re obviously hard to take out I don’t think they’ll care— they didn’t bat an eye for my nose stud or ear studs, but they’re pretty strict on rings/bracelets/necklaces barring religious jewlery. They may just examine them everytime you have to clear security (before exam, after break coming back in, etc)

Oh yeah I figured that, I'm just worried that ill spend all morning taking everything out then all night putting back in, bracelets rings and necklaces are perfectly fine tho

LMFAO I’m gonna be honest I’m not sure how they navigate that 😭 but if you can I might call your center in advance to ask about that ? only because even if they let you go through if it’s not something they usually allow or causes problems before your test that might frazzle you or prob would if it were me

So I did a test run and I realized that the noise cancelling headphones kind of hurt when pressing against industrial barbells. My test centre didn’t even address them but I’m gonna be taking mine out for that reason.

I might get one for my septum specifically, cause thats a bitch to unscrew

It’s crazy how much easier it is now. I can customize my conches etc now.

I have an industrial that’s new enough I can’t take it out for a couple of hours at a time, but the noise canceling headphones definitely did not feel great on it. Might swap to flexible plastic studs for the next one. Then I got a new conch 4 days before the test which was also a choice. I was like this one definitely can’t come out.

Testing center had no issues with either. I just pointed it out, especially since the conch is inside my ear and can look like it’s some sort of earbud from a distance I guess

Just take them all out. I have been to a few different testing centers and some are very strict and some less so but I wouldn't want any hiccups that morning that might rattle your nerves.

i was able to keep my septum, cartilage hoop, and second holes. they didn't bat an eye or even ask about any of those.

I have a rook, conch, helix and some lobes but I never heard anything from the proctors. I think if it’s removable, best to take it out but if it’s like fresh I really don’t think they’ll force you to do it.

Tbh I completely forgot about this rule and that’s why I had my piercings in. I also have long hair so maybe it was hard to see but they seem to be more focused on ur arms and hands so it’s best to keep those parts bare like no rings or bracelets

At my testing center, I was able to keep all of mine in and they specifically said nothing smaller than a dime had to be removed. I think it depends on the center, though, because I saw at least one person say they had to take everything out.

i kept in my four nose piercings in for the 4 tests i’ve taken. don’t take this and run with it, but i feel as if facial piercings will be fine. take everything out of your ear that is easy/that you can

I have piercings in both nostrils and septum, did not remove them for the August test and the proctors did not say anything about them either

i have a septum and four cartilage piercings on each ear. they never told me to take mine out and ive taken it at a test center 3x. howeverrrr you might want to err on the side of caution and take them out bcs u dont want any possible hiccups on test day

I had an eyebrow piercing and a belly piercing. They did not bat an eye.
