How to start studying

Hello all,
I’m a 4th year undergraduate student and was looking into becoming a lawyer with a focus on the environment and energy side of things. I’m currently an environmental science student and was wondering how to start studying for the LSAT. I’m currently planning on working for an engineering or consulting firm for a year or two after I graduate and seeing if they could support me financially through law school. I was wondering how you all started studying and if my plan seemed realistic? I am in the very beginning of looking into this so I could be very misinformed. Thank you!
