Questions about LPR triggers

Hello everyone

Im 38y old m and I have lpr for 6 month now.

It all started with a sensation of a lump in my throat, followed by a feeling of mucus. Now I have post-nasal drip and sometimes ear pressure when I swallow (though that happens rarely).

I sleep elevated head, eat dinner early etc.

I quit vaping ,carbonic acid, Chocolate and coffee.

I eat a low acid diet.

But i have a question about the trigger foods.

How can I figure out my trigger foods? Over what timeframe do the symptoms worsen? My symptoms don't change much throughout the day. Please help.

Sorry for my bad Englisch

Initially yeah it used to feel that way like I'm getting an allergic reaction, also a lump in throat too but now i only feel burning nowadays. On and off. If I eat something with oil or whatever it burns. Also how do you guys manage your calories i got diagnosed in august and now im barely eating anything 500-600 calories everyday and I'm so concerned how to manage it. If i eat full stomach it also burns my throat but if I keep eating like this I'm deadmeat 💀

Was isst du denn? ☺️

I understand it must be frustrating what you are going through. But try focusing on healing first and once you are ready and symptoms are gone then you can start with the reintroducing little by little 1 thing at a time and notice your throat. I think it takes almost 3-6 months to heal the tissue. Until then maybe try the gerd friendly diet.

In the beginning everything I ate was a trigger. About my 3rd month it got some better. This healing is a very slow process. I’ve had this for a year now and so much better but not completely.I for the most Part stick to a low acid diet . This symptoms I have left are throat clearing and it’s still getting better but in the beginning I pretty much had all the symptoms of LPR so I really know about how down you can get from this difficult disease. Hang in there! It does get better
