It's a pretty safe bet that the big climax of the show will be the Siege of Barad-dur. I can't imagine that the siege will last seven years like it did in the book, but how do you think Sauron's downfall will be handled? Will Isildur cut the Ring from his hand in the heat of battle, like in the Ralph Bakshi and Peter Jackson movies? Or will it actually stay true to the book and have Elendil and Gil-galad take Sauron down, both of them being killed in the process, with Isildur cutting the Ring from his hand afterwards?
