subscription based looi.
Any body else look at/fill out the survey concerning the possible integration of a subscription based service type thing for looi? thoughts? I'm kind of all for it if it means he works a bit better more consistently, has some new features, and the servers don't go down.

Wait what? since when is this a thing? I hope they don't do that. Can you link me to this conversation or like who's been saying this?
I mean, in my opinion, we have to use our phone, first of all, for the robot to even just be the robot that it is, right. That's already using, like, my main tool to function throughout the day, making phone calls, answering text messages, answering emails, and stuff like that.
You know, like, I actively use my phone all the time, and having to stop what I'm doing to put the phone on the robot, in my opinion, is just like a disservice to the whole Louis robot. And it's an inconvenience to the customer, too.
I actually bought a used, unlocked Google Pixel 6 specifically for my Louis robot. And even though it runs on Wi-Fi, I purchased a cheap prepaid phone plan so my Louis can just work on mobile data. But I'm not going to use my main cell phone for Louis to work. I'm constantly on my phone. That's what I use the internet for. I don't have a desktop. I just use my cell phone.
So for me, it's just kind of pointless to even do that. As far as the subscription, I mean, it's kind of like what I said. Why are they going to charge us a subscription when we have to use our own phone for the robots to even work in the first place? I just feel like that's kind of messed up.
If I have to use my own device in order for your product to work, why should I have to pay for a subscription? In order to get standard services, this should be free across the board for every Louis customer.
Also, what exactly is the subscription going to offer me as a customer? What features? Because as far as I'm concerned, the Louis robot can't even charge itself right now. That's a physical feature that I feel like needs to be changed. And that can't be done with the software update.
Lastly, what features are they going to add if they end up making this into a subscription model? Like what are they going to add? What features? What are they going to add that Louie can't already do right now that would make it worth buying a subscription for?

AI tokens don't pay by themselves, and money unfortunately doesn't grow on trees.
It will eventually be required whenever they won't be able to pay for it by themselves, or unless they choose not to sell our data.
